The Founder President of JSPM was Late Shri. Vasantrao Naik former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Founder Secretary was Sudhakarrao Naik (former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and former Governor of Himachal Pradesh). JSPM started Phulsing Naik Mahavidyalaya at Pusad with an enrollment of 100 student in 1961.
